Communities are essentially folders 2.0, allowing you to organize related groups, channels and bots in one place. You no longer need to keep hundreds of groups, channels and bots in your chat list and search through them manually — all relevant groups, channels and bots can now be collected into a single list.

For example, if you are a cat enthusiast, you can create a community and connect groups, channels and bots related to different cat breeds. Other users can also add their own groups, channels and bots if you allow them to do so. Groups, channels and bots will also display that they belong to a community.

Communities do not have their own invite links. You automatically join a community by joining one of its groups, channels or bots. However, you are not automatically added to the other groups, channels or bots within that community.

As for limits, you can add up to 100 groups, channels (and bots?) to a community, while the test server currently allows up to 10 groups, channels and bots.
