Acting swiftly on secret information recieved from Amritsar Rural Police, Kapurthala Police 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐚 𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐬𝐦𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞, 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝟒 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝟏𝟔.𝟖 𝐊𝐠 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐯 from the Phagwara area.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the consignment was sourced from the border area and was to be delivered to #Chandigarh, with linkages to #Pakistan & #Dubai-based handlers orchestrating the trafficking network.

An FIR has been registered under the NDPS Act at PS Sadar, #Phagwara. Further investigation is underway to unearth the entire network, and more arrests are likely.
