ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਕਾਊਂਟਰ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ ਵਿੰਗ ਵਲੋਂ ਇਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਗ੍ਰੇਨੇਡ ਹਮਲੇ ਦਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਸੁਲਝਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ 5 ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ 2 ਮੁੱਖ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਚਾਣ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਇੱਕ ਗ੍ਰੇਨੇਡ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਫਰਾਰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਹਨ। ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮਾਡਿਊਲ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ISI ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਸੀ, ਪੁਰਤਗਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਜਰਮਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੈਂਡਲਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਵੀ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਸਬ-ਮੋਡੀਊਲ ਅਤੇ ਕਨੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਵਰਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਦਭਾਵਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਭੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਕਾਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਮੁੱਖ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਹਨ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਇੱਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤਮਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ, ਸੰਗਠਿਤ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ੀਰੋ-ਟੌਲਰੈਂਸ ਨੀਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐡 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐝 In a major breakthrough, the Counter Intelligence wing of Punjab Police, in a joint operation with Chandigarh Police, solves the Chandigarh grenade attack case. Five persons involved in the incident have been arrested and the two perpetrators involved in the attack have been identified. One grenade, and other cache has been recovered so far. Police teams are conducting operations to nab the absconding accused. Preliminary investigations reveal that the module was backed by #Pakistan’s ISI, and foreign-based handlers in #Portugal & #Germany have been identified. Multiple cutouts and sub-modules were used. This operation has effectively foiled a major terror conspiracy aimed at disrupting peace and harmony in the region. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the main accused involved in the case. Punjab Police remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring the safety, security, and communal harmony in the region.
