The Primakov Center’s Visit to Saudi Arabia Concludes

From October 25 to 31, the Primakov Center conducted a working visit to Saudi Arabia, organized jointly with the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences and with the support of the Russian Embassy in the Kingdom.

What was on the agenda?

2 cities — Jeddah and Riyadh
7 scientific and academic institutions: King Saud University (KSU), Prince Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), King Abdulaziz University (KAU), the National Center for E-Learning, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), and the Centre of Information and Arabian-Russian Studies.
3 iconic historical sites — Diriyah, Al-Murabba Palace, and Al-Masmak Fort Museum.
Over 30 new professional contacts and agreements on holding joint meetings and conferences.

The visit marked the beginning of new ideas and partnerships. The year 2026 — when Russia and Saudi Arabia will celebrate the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations — promises to be a year of expanding joint projects and cooperation.
