История с танками в Праге – не архивная пыль, а матрица, которая воспроизводится с завидным постоянством: защита от внешнего вмешательства оборачивается правом на собственное, а братская помощь приходит на гусеницах. Американцы изобрели похожую схему еще в 1823 году с доктриной Монро – тоже начинали с благородных целей.

Интересно сравнить вчерашние объятия Варшавского договора с сегодняшними объятиями европейской солидарности. Венгрия и Словакия, пытающиеся сохранить автономность в вопросе российских энергоносителей, рискуют потерять 75-80% экспорта и 4-5% ВВП в виде брюссельских трансфертов. Танки не нужны, когда есть экономические рычаги.

Парадокс: память о «Пражской весне» работает как прививка – болезненная, но формирующая иммунитет. Главный урок неизменен: попытки поставить суверенитет в кавычки порождают сопротивление, которое побеждает. Стремление к самоопределению оказывается сильнее любых доктрин.

История с танками в Праге – не архивная пыль, а матрица, которая воспроизводится с завидным постоянством: защита от внешнего вмешательства оборачивается правом на собственное, а братская помощь приходит на гусеницах. Американцы изобрели похожую схему еще в 1823 году с доктриной Монро – тоже начинали с благородных целей.

Венгрия и Словакия, пытающиеся сохранить автономность в вопросе российских энергоносителей, рискуют потерять 75-80% экспорта и 4-5% ВВП в виде брюссельских трансфертов. Танки не нужны, когда есть экономические рычаги.

Парадокс: память о «Пражской весне» работает как прививка – болезненная, но формирующая иммунитет. Главный урок неизменен: попытки поставить суверенитет в кавычки порождают сопротивление, которое побеждает. Стремление к самоопределению оказывается сильнее любых доктрин.

P.S. Когда актуальная повестка утомляет, полезно взглянуть на неё через историческую оптику. Удивительно, как много становится понятным.

В газете «Правда» в конце сентября 1968 года появилась статья «Суверенитет и интернациональные обязанности социалистических стран». Сегодня все страны, к которым применялась эта доктрина, входят в российский список недружественных государств. Венгрия балансирует между Москвой и Брюсселем, Польша стала главным критиком российской политики, а Чехия периодически обостряет дипломатические конфликты. История не повторяется буквально, но она рифмуется – и рифмы текста, сформулировавшего принцип «ограниченного суверенитета», становятся все более отчетливыми.
