The migration and personalization sector will be digitalized

✅ According to the resolution, starting from February 1, 2026, an electronic digital signature certificate to be entered into its chip will be provided free of charge when identification ID cards are issued to individuals for the 1st time.

🏛 The Department is considered the competent authority for the formation and continuous updating of the following central databases of individuals:

🔸 information on the registered address of the place of residence and stay of foreign citizens and stateless persons, as well as citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

🔸 information on the series, number, place of issue, as well as the date of issue and expiration date of the identification ID card;

🔸 information on the citizenship of Uzbekistan;

🔸 information on citizens of Uzbekistan, foreign citizens permanently residing in Uzbekistan, and stateless persons;

🔸 information about foreign citizens and stateless persons invited to Uzbekistan, as well as information about the extension of their visa period.

📜 From September 1, 2026, the possibility of providing the following state services through the Single interactive state services portal and public service centers will be created:

▪️ inviting compatriots living abroad and their family members to Uzbekistan;

▪️ sending an application for the issuance of biometric travel documents of stateless persons.
