“Cash reward for the employee who reads the most books”

🏛 According to the Presidential Decree, in all ministries and agencies:

🔹 by 1 March 2026, lists of recommended professional and sector-specific literature will be compiled;

🔹 a practice will be introduced under which at least three foreign professional publications per year will be translated into Uzbek through local publishing houses and enriched with commentaries, glossaries, and practical examples with the involvement of qualified experts;

🔹 by 1 April 2026, “Book Corners” will be established in institutions and their subordinate organisations, and a monthly “Reading Hour” will be introduced for employees;

🔹 an internal reading performance rating system will be launched;

🔹 based on a competitive selection, the employee who reads the most books will receive a cash bonus equivalent to one month’s salary.

💸 In addition, each student and university student included in the top 100 most well-read readers will receive a cash reward equivalent to 25 times the base calculation value.
