“Following the Jadids” reading clubs to be launched in schools

✅ According to the Presidential Decree, starting from 1 February 2026:

▪️ the “A Book Is a Source of Enlightenment” programme will be implemented to promote reading, especially among young people;

▪️ promotional materials by state bodies encouraging reading and books will be recognised as public service announcements;

▪️ access to the “Mutolaa” reading platform will be made available via wireless or mobile internet on public transport (buses, metro, airplanes, and trains), with QR codes installed for convenience.

📑 In general education schools, “Following the Jadids” reading clubs will be established:

🔸 debates and discussions focused on book analysis and interpretation will be held among club members;

🔸 club members will be encouraged to read at least 20 books per year at school;

🔸 every quarter, the most active members of “Following the Jadids” reading clubs will be rewarded at the district (city) level.
