TON to Use LayerZero for Enhanced Cross-Chain Functionality

TON has partnered with LayerZero, enabling users to send their tokens to other blockchains. Initially, TON will be connected to 12 blockchains, including Ethereum, TRON, and Solana.

Users will also benefit from LayerZero’s multi-chain liquidity, which allows funds locked in different blockchains to be aggregated, reducing the risk of slippage the price change between the start and completion of a transaction.

This integration will also be useful for developers: they will be able to deploy tokens on TON from any LayerZero-connected chain using a single contract.

Additionally, the new Tether stablecoin USDT0, designed to address liquidity issues can now be transferred between TON, TRON, Ethereum, Celo, and Arbitrum thanks to a new product from Legacy Mesh.
