Joint IDF and ISA announcement:

The IDF and ISA eliminated a Nukhba cell commander and a commander in Hamas' Military Intelligence Unit

On Sunday, the IDF struck in the northern Gaza Strip and eliminated the terrorist Ahmad Yahya Ibrahim Batsh, a Hamas Nukhba cell commander.

Throughout the war, including in recent days, Batsh advanced terror attacks against IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip.

Additionally, yesterday (Monday), the IDF struck in the southern Gaza Strip and eliminated the terrorist Hamouda Abu Daqa, a commander in Hamas’ Military Intelligence Unit.

The terrorist was engaged in gathering intelligence on IDF troops to direct and execute terror attacks against IDF troops, and posed an immediate threat to the troops operating in the area.

Prior to the strikes, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.

IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
