IDF: The IDF eliminated a Hamas terrorist who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th Massacre

Last week (Wednesday), the IDF struck in the Al-Shati area and eliminated Abd al-Rahman Maher Abd al-Karim Ziyada, commander of a Nukhba terrorist cell in Hamas' military wing.

The terrorist infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th Massacre and looted an IDF military vehicle, taking it into the Gaza Strip.

In an additional strike on the same day in the Khan Yunis area, the IDF struck and eliminated Kamal Mohammad Hamdan Najjar, Head of the Tunnel Unit in the Khan Yunis sector of Hamas' military wing.

Throughout the war, and particularly in recent weeks, the terrorists have attempted to advance terrorist attacks against IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip. The terrorists posed an immediate threat to the troops and were eliminated in precise strikes.

Prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance.

IDF troops under Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue operating to remove any threat.
