Toranj Mehta, VP-Marketing at De Beers India said the diamond industry is closely monitoring Middle East tensions as Dubai remains a key trading hub for India’s diamond supply. While it is still early to assess disruptions, the industry is in discussions with merchants to manage any challenges. She added that demand for natural diamonds in India remains strong, supported by rising incomes and growing interest among younger consumers.
