The Russian Foreign Ministry has threatened a systematic series of strikes on Ukrainian military-industrial complex facilities in Kyiv, as well as on so-called “decision-making centers.”
The aggressor state also warned foreign citizens, including diplomatic personnel and employees of international organizations, to leave the city as soon as possible, while advising Kyiv residents not to approach military and administrative infrastructure facilities.
Russia once again claimed that these strikes would be a “response” to the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on a college in occupied Starobilsk, Luhansk region, on May 22.
Russian officials alleged that “civilians and children were killed.”
In reality, the facility housed a training school for UAV operators of the elite Russian Rubicon unit.
Moreover, preparations for any large-scale strike, such as the one carried out on the night of May 24, take weeks rather than days.
This means Russia’s claims that the attack was a “response” to the strike on Starobilsk are nothing more than enemy propaganda.
