Bunna Bank is honored to partner with and sponsor the Global Black Center (GBC) Annual Council Meeting, held today, February 28, 2026, at the historic Adwa Victory Memorial Hall,Addis Ababa.

This prestigious gathering, held on the eve of Adwa Victory Memorial Day, brought together distinguished leaders including FDRE President H.E. Taye Atske Selassie, Minister of Tourism H.E. Selamawit Kassa, and GBC Council Secretary General H.E. Demeke Mekonnen.

A significant milestone was reached as the Ministry of Tourism signed an MoA with the GBC, reinforcing Ethiopia’s role as the custodian of Black heritage. President Taye highlighted that this is a vital opportunity to share how the Victory of Adwa heralded the global struggle against colonialism.
