📢 On July 9, the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Mission of the Russian Federation to ASEAN Mr. Andrey Yudin 🇷🇺 took part in the Second Meeting of the Group of the East Asia Summit (#EAS) Participating Countries' Ambassadors to ASEAN (EAS Group Meeting) held in Bandung, Indonesia 🇮🇩.

🔹️The meeting reviewed the progress of implementation of the EAS Plan of Action 2024-2028 and discussed preparation for the 21st EAS in November this year.

🔹️Russian delegation undelined the important role of the EAS Group in implementing the EAS Leaders' decisions and promoting tangible cooperation between the EAS Participating Countries.

🔹️On the same day the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Mission of the Russian Federation to ASEAN Mr. Andrey Yudin 🇷🇺 and Deputy Director-General of the Department of Asia and Pacific Cooperation of the Russian MFA Mr. Timur Zevakhin 🇷🇺 took part in the #EAS Group Retreat on Regional Security and Cooperation. Russian delegation came up with several ideas on the ways to enhance the effectiveness of the EAS process.
