One of the most notable events in TON's history is here: following an open community vote, the network's native token is changing its name. Toncoin is becoming Gram once again — the very name from the original 2018 whitepaper. Over 81% of participants voted in favor.

What's changing
The token's name, ticker, and logo: TON → GRAM. The network itself, however, stays The Open Network (TON). The rename applies only to the coin, not the blockchain.

What stays the same
Your balances, wallet addresses, smart contracts, NFTs, and staking — all right where they were. No swap, migration, or claim is required: 10 $TON simply become 10 $GRAM with the same value. So stay alert: if any site offers to "swap" or "migrate" your tokens, it's a scam.
