❓
Question: Can I receive a scholarship at WIUT?
✔️
Answer: Yes. Westminster International University in Tashkent offers the
WIUT Scholarship Programme -
a 100% tuition fee waiver for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who are accepted to the Certificate in International Foundation Studies (CIFS).
ℹ️ What it covers & who can apply
•
Coverage: 100% fee waiver (full tuition).
•
Eligibility: Citizens of Uzbekistan accepted to CIFS. You must indicate scholarship interest during your application in the admission portal.
ℹ️ How selection works
• Selection is typically based on two stages, using your
WIUT Maths Entrance Exam performance and IELTS score (weighted
60% IELTS / 40% Maths). Top applicants may be invited to a Paper-based Maths Exam to compete for scholarship places.
• WIUT normally offers around
30 scholarships annually (the exact number is decided by the University’s Executive Team).
• Scholarships are awarded to the
top-performing applicants. According to WIUT’s Policy, if someone among the 30 applicants refuses to accept the offer, her/his scholarship offer
will not be transferred to any other candidate beyond the top thirty.
ℹ️ Keeping your scholarship
• To maintain scholarship privileges at the next levels, students must demonstrate strong academic performance (e.g.,
CIFS with Distinction and/or being on the
Dean’s List at undergraduate levels).
For full details, the official steps and additional support routes, visit
WIUT’s Scholarship Programme page.
📌
Pro-Tip: If you want to be considered, make sure you tick the scholarship checkbox in your application and remember that only your first attempt at the WIUT Maths Entrance Exam is considered.
