Science sHeroes: Celebrating Women and Girls in Science! 🔬✨

On 6 February, Westminster International University in Tashkent proudly hosted Science sHeroes: "Harnessing Science: Empowering Women and Girls for a Sustainable Future" Symposium, an event celebrating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, now in its third consecutive year.

The event brought together exceptional researchers - Master's students, and PhD candidates from across Uzbekistan, selected from over 30 applications from top educational institutions. This year, for the first time, the symposium opened its doors to promising young talents from schools, fostering the next generation of innovators. The programme featured presentations from nine talented participants, each sharing innovative research across diverse scientific disciplines. Participants shared inspiring research and insights on topics ranging from environmental science to AI, aeronautical engineering, and social studies.
