Student Success: Rukhsora Shakirova

Meet Rukhsora Shakirova, a third-year International Relations student at Webster University Tashkent who is making an impact in Uzbekistan and beyond.

She previously served as Project Manager at the Youth Affairs Agency of Uzbekistan, leading 'Qizlar Akademiyasi' to empower 800,000+ women through digital education, career guidance, and mentorship, and was recently appointed Director of the Global Youth Office. Rukhsora also serves in the Youth Parliament under the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, shaping international relations policy.

She has represented Uzbekistan at major global platforms, including the UNFCCC Conferences of the Parties (COPs), the UN ECOSOC Youth Forum, the UN General Assembly, and the UNESCO General Conference, among other high-level international engagements, earning the prestigious 'Oʻzbekiston belgisi' badge.
