Ukrainian artists who use the language of culture to speak honestly to the world about the full-scale war are gaining international recognition—and this is becoming a powerful expression of Ukraine’s cultural diplomacy.

opera “GAIA-24” received the “Music Theatre Now” award and was named one of the world’s best projects. The opera tells the story of the devastating consequences of russia’s bombing of the Kakhovska Hydroelectric Power Plant on June 6, 2023.
