“Ukraine’s path to the EU lies in the ability of local self-government to function and develop in accordance with the highest democratic standards. Every initiative the Parliament is working on shares a common goal—to make Ukrainian communities self-sufficient, safe, and attractive to investors,” emphasised Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada.

The leadership of the Verkhovna Rada, together with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, participated in a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine, which took place in Uzhhorod.
