Ammunition, weapons, and military equipment worth over €600 million — Latvia continues to provide systematic support to Ukraine and is one of the world’s leaders in terms of the percentage of GDP allocated to assisting our country. The Deputy Speaker, Olena Kondratiuk, expressed her gratitude to the Latvian Minister of Defence, Andris Sprūds, for comprehensive military support during his visit to the Ukrainian Parliament.

This year, Latvian partners have already contributed €10 million to the PURL initiative. As Minister Sprūds confirmed, Latvia will continue providing military assistance to Ukraine, amounting to at least 0.25% of GDP annually.
