Deputy Speaker Olena Kondratiuk discussed the launch of the Special Tribunal on the Crime of Aggression by the russian federation and the international registry of damages inflicted by russia on Ukraine with Latvian Ambassador to Ukraine Andrejs Pildegovičs.

Ukraine expects Latvia to ratify the relevant agreements at the parliamentary level, as Estonia has already done.

Olena Kondratiuk thanked Latvia for its decision to allocate 10 million euros this year for the purchase of weapons to meet Ukraine’s immediate needs through the NATO PURL program.

“Ukraine is committed to close cooperation with Latvia within the JEF military coalition. We are interested in joint military exercises with JEF and are ready to share our unique experience in the use of and countering drones,” Olena Kondratiuk noted.
