Holding Russia Financially Accountable and Establishing an International Compensation Mechanism for Damages Caused to Ukraine

The Riigikogu has ratified a convention establishing an international commission to assess claims and determine compensation amounts for Ukrainian citizens and businesses.

Approved by the Estonian Parliament, the commission will be a key step in moving from merely registering damages to implementing practical solutions, ensuring fair restitution for the people and economy of Ukraine at the expense of the russian federation.
