A just peace is impossible without the return of all deported Ukrainian children. The Spanish Senate has approved a declaration on the forced displacement and deportation of Ukrainian children.

In the document, parliamentarians emphasise that around 20,000 Ukrainian children were forcibly taken away by russia. They are being forced to participate in military training programmes and attempts are being made to destroy their national identity.
