No pauses in assistance: European leaders emphasise that support for Ukraine is a strategic duty.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that despite the challenging security situation in other regions of the world, support for Ukraine must not be reduced, as the country — which has been subjected to russia’s aggression — continues to require robust assistance.


Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni stated that russia’s invasion of Ukraine has directly led to the current global turmoil. She also noted that for Italy and for Europe it is clear that without restoring the peace that was shattered in Ukraine, the chaos will only continue to escalate.


Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda stated that Europe must remain united and continue its consistent political, economic and military support, without diverting attention from the war that russia is waging against Ukraine.
