The Parliament of Latvia adopted a special resolution supporting Ukraine on the fourth anniversary of its resistance to russia's full-scale invasion. Deputy Speaker Olena Kondratiuk thanked the Saeima of Latvia and the entire Latvian society for their unwavering support of Ukraine.

The Latvian Parliament emphasises:

Ukraine sincerely desires to end the hostilities and is actively participating in peace talks, but russia is sabotaging peace initiatives and is responsible for the continuation of the war.

Latvia will never recognise the incorporation into russia of Ukrainian territories that have been occupied by russia since 2014.
