russia shows no real signs of willingness to stop its aggression and move towards a diplomatic solution to end the war. Therefore, Ukraine must strengthen military cooperation with its NATO partners and seek new formats for cooperation, in particular within the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF).

This was emphasised by Deputy Speaker Olena Kondratiuk during a meeting with Estonian Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur.

The JEF is a military coalition led by the United Kingdom, which includes the countries of Northern Europe and the Baltic states. "We are grateful to Estonia, as a co-founder and member of the JEF coalition, for supporting the decision of the Oslo 2025 summit to grant Ukraine special extended partnership status. This format provides for deeper Ukrainian participation in JEF activities, joint training and exchange of experience in the field of security and defence. Ukraine seeks full membership in JEF and counts on Estonia's support in achieving this goal," she said.
