The Verkhovna Rada appealed to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to support the actions of Ukrainian skeleton racer Vladislav Heraskevych, a participant in the XXV Winter Olympic Games (No. 15027).

He wore a helmet with photos of deceased Ukrainian athletes during training, but the IOC banned him from doing so. "This is the price Ukraine pays every day in this bloody war, and we remind the world of this. We remember our heroes, we remember those whose lives were taken by russia," said Vladyslav Heraskevych.
