Reducing dependence on fossil fuels and preparing the economy for new global trade rules is the goal of the European integration Law on Climate Change, which has been in force in Ukraine for over a year (No. 3991-IX).

Key principles include the development of renewable energy, as well as the accounting and monitoring of emissions, according to the Committee on Environmental Policy.

In the long term, the law will contribute to the stabilisation of the energy system, reduce energy costs in homes and lower the risks of natural disasters.
