First Deputy Speaker Oleksandr Korniienko met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

«Last week, we had a substantive discussion during the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Interparliamentary Council (UNIC). I am particularly pleased to welcome the delegation to Kyiv — their presence is an important sign of solidarity on the part of the Alliance,» Oleksandr Korniienko emphasised.

He noted that Ukraine highly appreciates its partners' willingness to provide much-needed weapons under the PURL initiative. The parliament is committed to reforms, in particular those aimed at bringing Ukraine closer to NATO standards.
