Ukraine's accession to the EU is one of the main priorities of the Ukrainian parliament.

First Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Korniienko, as a member of the national negotiating team on EU accession, held talks with European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos.

The parties discussed the next stages of Ukraine's European integration track and the key tasks on this path.

Oleksandr Korniienko stressed that the Verkhovna Rada remains committed to the chosen course and will continue to work on bringing national legislation closer to European standards.
