Develop cooperation between defence enterprises and strengthen air defence capabilities. This was emphasised by the Ukrainian parliamentary delegation during a meeting with the Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Belgium, Theo Francken. This was reported by First Deputy Speaker Oleksandr Korniienko.

He stressed: «It is important for us that we have heard about Belgium's readiness to provide support, including military support, to Ukraine in its fight against russian aggression.»

In addition, the delegation took part in a meeting of the European Parliament's Committee on Security and Defence, during which the priorities of the Cypriot Presidency were presented. Oleksandr Korniienko emphasised the need to increase military aid in order to protect Ukrainians and critical infrastructure from brutal russian shelling.
