Putin awards designers of Burevestnik and Poseidon.
Next generation of nuclear-powered cruise missiles under development, will achieve supersonic (Mach 3) and even hypersonic speeds.
Poseidon dives up to 1000 meters, travels several times faster than modern surface ships.
More traditional missile systems also remembered:
- Avangard created and deployed;
- Oreshnik created and deployed (?), and serially produced;
- Sarmat to enter experimental deployment this year and fully deployed in 2026.
