Relocating to a new country is always a major life transition — especially for children.
A new environment. New friends. New expectations. And all of it unfolding in a language that, until recently, may have been completely unfamiliar.
At OKA Agency, we understand a fundamental truth: successful integration begins with language. Not only for adults, but first and foremost for children. Language is the key that unlocks education, friendships, confidence, and a true sense of belonging.
That is why we created something truly meaningful!
In partnership with School 800 — one of the most innovative educational projects in the Nizhny Novgorod Region — and with the support of the regional Ministry of Education and Science, we have developed a dedicated Russian-language integration program for relocated children aged 7 to 17.
What the program includes
Three progressive learning levels, each lasting approximately 3–4 months
Completely free of charge for selected participants
Far more than language lessons: children take part in workshops, clubs, concerts, and school-wide activities
Every child is paired with an English-speaking student mentor who provides guidance and support throughout the adaptation process
Parents are actively involved from day one
Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to enroll in any school within the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
This program goes beyond teaching Russian.
Children are introduced to Russian culture, traditions, and social norms. They learn how life in Russia works from the inside and gradually develop the confidence to call it home.
Our cohort is already underway. Ten children are currently studying, growing, and building their future alongside the School 800 community.
