QAZAQ AIR (VIETJET QAZAQSTAN) reports that on October 20, 2025, during flight Astana – Novosibirsk, an incident occurred on board involving a female passenger who, being in a state of alcohol intoxication, assaulted cabin crew members after being denied an additional serving of alcoholic beverages.

Upon arrival at Novosibirsk Airport, the disruptive passenger was handed over to law enforcement authorities for further investigation in accordance with applicable legislation.

According to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Use of Airspace and Activities of Civil Aviation,” passengers who violate onboard conduct rules or pose a threat to flight safety may be included in the airline’s internal no-fly list.

Furthermore, assaulting crew members or committing any actions that endanger flight safety is subject to administrative and criminal liability, including restriction of liberty.

The safety of passengers and crew remains QAZAQ AIR’s top priority. The airline will continue to take all necessary measures to ensure security and maintain order on board.
