QAZAQ AIR (VIETJET QAZAQSTAN) Launches Operations from the New Terminal at Shymkent Airport

Starting May 30, 2025, QAZAQ AIR (VIETJET QAZAQSTAN) will begin operating all flights from the new passenger terminal at Shymkent International Airport.

The first flight from the new terminal will depart on the Shymkent–Zhezkazgan route.

This move is part of a phased transition of all airlines to the upgraded terminal, which opened at the end of last year. The modern facility spans 39,000 square meters and can handle up to 2,000 passengers per hour.

Passengers are encouraged to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before departure to allow enough time for check-in, security screening, and boarding.
