Russia has repeatedly stated this - the president has also addressed this issue, including in the context of plans by European countries, represented by the European Commission, to completely sever ties with Russia in the energy sector, specifically regarding supplies of our hydrocarbons.

With China, thank God, we have all the necessary capabilities - both those already in operation, as well as reserve capacity and planned capabilities - to ensure we are not dependent on such aggressive adventurism [referring to the situation in the Middle East], which undermines the global economy and global energy."
