Chancellor Merz: we are elevating our bilateral relations with Ukraine to the level of a strategic partnership.
During a joint press-conference with President Zelenskyy, he said:
Our cooperation [with Ukraine] is now more effective, our partnership based on trust is stronger, and our friendship and the bonds between our societies are deeper than ever.
In this regard, it is only logical that we are today elevating our bilateral relations to the level of a strategic partnership, for we want - even more so than in the past - to learn from one another and invest in our shared future.
