Pershore Phoenix Dragon Boat Club will donate a race boat to Ukraine's Odesa Dragons after their club was hit by the Russian kamikaze drone attack in 2023.

To pay for it to reach the team, boat club members are raising funds by running, walking, paddling, cycling, and swimming the equivalent 2,800 km distance to Odesa.

Earlier, UK boat clubs sent paddles, kayaks and other equipment to the Odesa club to help them recover from the strike.
