Stop Complaining, Use AI, and Get Rich, Millionaire Tells Unemployed Young People

AI has made it easier than ever to start a business, says 31-year-old millionaire Timothy Armoo. Tools like ChatGPT and Claude are virtually free, while social media gives everybody direct access to an audience; the barrier to entry for entrepreneurs is lower than ever.

"AI enables you to think of an idea and put it out into the world. And social media means that you don't need to pay someone in order to do it. You just need to spend time on the platform and just keep posting," he explains.

Armoo was born in London but lived with his grandmother in Ghana until the age of 10. He grew up in a low-income immigrant family and, at 14, launched an online tutoring service. By 27, he became a millionaire after selling his marketing company.

Youth unemployment in the UK has reached 16.2% this year. Goldman Sachs says AI adoption is hitting entry-level jobs three times harder than other roles, making it especially difficult for young people to land their first job.
