SpaceXAI Unveils Grok 4.5

This is the first Grok model built from the ground up for coding and agent work, trained with the Cursor team.

Elon Musk positions Grok 4.5 as "an Opus-class model, but cheaper and faster." And, judging by the announcement, Grok really is cheaper and faster—but on some benchmarks the model comes closer to China's GLM-5.2 than to Opus 4.8.
