Namaste! Thanks to your continued support, here’s a look at what we accomplished at Peepal Farm in the first quarter of FY2025-26 (April–June):

New Clinic Launch
==
We launched our first satellite clinic in Bhopal - with our local partner Paw People Foundation - under our Project Tiny, a low-cost setup designed to reduce animal suffering by providing:

• Basic trauma care
• Sterilizations for birth control
• Euthanasia for mortally injured animals


For this, we worked with them to hire, and train a vet and a paravet. We are funding their salaries for the first year, during which the clinic is expected to become financially self-sustaining.


Animal Rescue & Sterilization

* 488 animals were rescued or treated.
* 274 animals (mostly dogs, some cats) were sterilized — preventing an estimated 27,400 puppies from being born into suffering.
* 19 animals found loving forever homes!
* At the end of the quarter we were caring for 129 animals, including:
- 64 under treatment and recovery
- 45 long-term residents
- 20 waiting for adoption

Financial Summary
==
We received ₹38.43 lakhs in donations. Out of which 2 lakh have been earmarked for orthopedic surgery equipment, and power backup for resident animal area, and .25 is earmarked for promoting an awareness video. Here's how the rest of the funds were utilised:

* Founder Salary: ₹0
* Staff Salary: ₹20.88 lakh. Includes salary for Project Tiny, and saved leaves encashment that happens after FY ends.
* Animal Medicine: ₹5.50 lakh
* Animal Food: ₹3.64 lakh
* Fuel: ₹1.52 lakh. This covers Bolero, Van, Wagon-R, Scooty and generator.
* Extra medical charges: ₹1.16 lakh. This was for medical tests not done in our hospital, and for carcass
* Construction & Maintenance: ₹1.14 lakh.
* Security: ₹0.96 lakh.
* Office expense, electricity, internet and misc petty expenses: ₹0.89 lakh.
* New Purchases: ₹0.66 lakh. This was the down payment for CBC machine. ₹0.99 lakh pending
* Insurance & staff welfare: ₹0.30 lakh


We started with ₹3 lakh in our bank account, and at the end of the quarter, we had ₹4.81 lakh in our bank account.

Also, our vendor credit balance stands at ₹7.76 lakh by the end of the quarter. This does not include ₹0.99 lakh that we owe for the CBC machine.
