❗️The 1200th Anniversary of Hakim al-Tirmidhi to Be Celebrated on a Grand Scale

A Presidential Resolution (PR No. 275, dated July 24, 2026), entitled "On the Wide Celebration of the 1200th Anniversary of the Birth of Our Great Compatriot Hakim al-Tirmidhi, a Distinguished Scholar of Hadith and Sufism," has been adopted.

🔰 According to the Resolution, the 1200th anniversary of the birth of Hakim al-Tirmidhi will be widely celebrated this year.

📜 An international conference on the theme "The Contemporary Significance of the Scientific and Spiritual Heritage of Hakim al-Tirmidhi" will be held in Termez in November 2026.

📑 Scientifically annotated academic translations of Hakim al-Tirmidhi's works "Navodir al-Usul" and "Bahr al-Tafsir", as well as other sources related to his scholarly heritage, will be published in Uzbek and foreign languages.

📚 Throughout 2026, a series of booklets dedicated to the scholarly heritage of Hakim al-Tirmidhi will be prepared for publication and published.

💰 In cooperation with the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, a competition entitled "Expert on the Works of Hakim al-Tirmidhi" will be organized among students of religious educational institutions, and the winners will be duly awarded.

📁 To commemorate the 1200th anniversary of the scholar's birth, a Kurash tournament dedicated to the memory of Hakim al-Tirmidhi will be held in November 2026 under the slogan "Maydoni Mardlar" ("Arena of the Brave") at a high organizational level.
