Competitions in the field of intellectual activity will be organized

By a Government Resolution (No. 160, dated April 9, 2026), the Regulation “On the procedure for conducting competitions in the field of intellectual activity” has been approved.

🔰 This Regulation defines the procedure for organizing and conducting competitions in the field of intellectual activity, evaluating participants, and awarding winners.

🖼 According to the Regulation, the competition shall be held in the following nominations:

▫️ “Best invention”;
▫️ “Best utility model”;
▫️ “Best industrial design”;
▫️ “Best computer program and database”;
▫️ “Best breeding achievement”.

🔵 The competition shall be held in 2 stages:

➖ Stage 1 – at the level of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions, and the city of Tashkent;
➖ Stage 2 – at the national level.

📝 The organizer shall, annually by May 1, approve the competition conditions and evaluation criteria, and announce the competition on its official website and social media pages.

💰 Winners and prize-winners of Stage 2 of the competition shall be awarded monetary prizes in the following amounts of the base calculation amount:

▫️ 1st place – 150 times;
▫️ 2nd place – 125 times;
▫️ 3rd place – 100 times.
