The “Spiritual Shield” republican reading competition will be held within the Armed Forces system

A Presidential Resolution titled “On measures for organizing a republican reading competition within the Armed Forces system” (No. RP-128, dated April 7, 2026) has been adopted.

🔰 According to the Resolution, starting from 2026, the “Spiritual Shield” republican reading competition will be held annually in four stages, separately among:

▫️ conscripted military personnel;
▫️ contract-based military personnel;
▫️ cadets of higher military and higher militarized educational institutions;
▫️ students of military-academic lyceums.

📝 At the republican stage of the competition, among conscripted and contract-based military personnel, cadets, and students of ministries and agencies:

🚘 each of the 4 winners who take 1st place will be awarded the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s grand prize — an electric vehicle and a diploma;

💰 each of the 4 prize-winners who take 2nd place will be awarded a one-time monetary reward in the amount of 100 times the base calculation amount (BHM) and a diploma;

💸 each of the 4 prize-winners who take 3rd place will be awarded a one-time monetary reward in the amount of 70 times the base calculation amount (BHM) and a diploma.

⏳ The term of service of conscripted military personnel who take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places at the republican stage will be reduced by 1 month as an incentive.
