Subsidies will be allocated to entrepreneurs for importing beef and mutton

A Presidential Resolution titled “On additional measures to support the provision of the population with basic types of food products” (No. RP-130, dated April 7, 2026) has been adopted.

💸 According to the Resolution, temporary subsidies from the republican budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan are allocated in the following areas aimed at ensuring price stability of meat products:

🔹 From April 1 to August 1, 2026 — for entrepreneurs importing beef and mutton, 50 percent of air transportation costs shall be covered, but not exceeding USD 0.8 per kilogram of meat;

🔹 From April 1 to December 31, 2026 — 10 percent of the cost of pedigree cattle imported by air transport from foreign countries, but not exceeding 4 million soums per head.

💰 In accordance with this Resolution, subsidies shall be financed by the Payments Agency in the agricultural sector.
