The Tashkent International Financial Center will be established

The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the establishment of the Tashkent International Financial Center” (DP–48, March 30, 2026) has been adopted.

🏛 In accordance with the Decree, the Tashkent International Financial Center, as well as the Tashkent International Commercial Court within its structure, will be established.

✅ The following types of activities shall be permitted within the territory of the Center:

▫️ financial, investment and banking activities;
▫️ insurance and digital (crypto) assets;
▫️ securities;
▫️ payment systems and services;
▫️ Islamic and green finance;
▫️ provision of services and execution of transactions related to financial technologies;
▫️ provision of auditing, consulting and legal services.

📑 A special legal regime established by a constitutional law shall be introduced within the territory of the Center.

✔️ The governing bodies of the Center shall be granted the right to adopt normative legal acts applicable within the territory of the Center regulating civil, corporate, commercial, financial, banking, tax, public procurement, labour law, as well as personal data protection.

⏭️ The common law of England and Wales, as well as the principles of equity, shall be directly applied within the territory of the Center.

📙 The Tashkent International Commercial Court shall consist of a court of first instance and a court of appeal.
