The procedure for organizing a legal experiment has been regulated

The Law “On legal experiment” (LRU–1127, dated March 27, 2026) has been adopted.

🔎 According to the Law, a body or official authorized to adopt normative-legal acts shall be considered a competent authority.

⌛️ The duration of a legal experiment shall be established from 6 months to 3 years.

🗒 The unified register of legal experiments shall include information on the organization, conduct, and the work carried out based on the results of legal experiments.

✅ A legal experiment shall be conducted within a defined period, limited to a specific territory and (or) a certain category of persons.

📑 Based on the results of a legal experiment, the competent authority, on the basis of a report on its outcomes, shall adopt one of the following decisions:

🔹 on the expediency of adopting a normative-legal act or experimental legal norms introduced under the legal experiment without limitation by time, specific territory, and (or) category of persons;

🔹 on the inexpediency of adopting a normative-legal act or experimental legal norms introduced under the legal experiment without limitation by time, specific territory, and (or) category of persons;

🔹 on extending the duration of the legal experiment.

📍 The Law shall enter into force three months after the date of its official publication.
