Relations in the field of physical culture and sports have been regulated

The Law “On physical culture and sports” (LRU–1123, dated 24 March 2026) has been adopted.

🔰 The purpose of this Law is to regulate relations in the field of physical culture and sports.

🏛 The Ministry of Sports is the authorized state body in the field of physical culture and sports.

✅ According to the Law, citizens have the right to engage in amateur sports, as well as professional sports as athletes, coaches and sports referees.

🔎 A sports club is established for the purpose of carrying out sports activities, developing and promoting sports, as well as preparing athletes for competitions.

📜 An athlete’s passport is a unified standard document confirming the athlete’s affiliation with a physical culture and sports organization, as well as his/her sports qualification.

✔️ A sports referee is an individual authorized to ensure compliance with the rules of a sport and the regulation (regulations) of a sports competition.

💸 The state may provide support measures to athletes and coaches in the form of one-time and monthly payments (stipends, allowances and others).
